Russ Leona Trip 12/8/2 Quebec
After settling in our camp out of Quebec, we drove into town. We thought Montreal was really nice but this was spectacular. The old town was built on a hill. Old Quebec is surrounded by a wall. It is the only remaining walled city in the US and Canada. The wall was built for the War of 1812. It was started in the 1700's. Some of the houses were built in the 1600's. The houses are of rock and the streets are cobblestone. Another beautiful church, Notre-Dame De Quebec. We took a ride in a carriage and had dinner on the patio. It is really cool. We plan on spending more time looking around tomorrow, after we move camp as we could only get a spot for one night.
