We have arrived in Montreal. Got settled in campground, it is at a marina right on the St. Lawrence river. It is real nice. A nice lady in the Toronto campground told us about it. Last night we stayed in Morrisburg a 100 miles from Montreal. We are still being challenged with internet access. We miss our smart phones so bad. We are getting hooked on McCafe's in MacDonalds. I will include a
couple photos of Toronto. We seen all we wanted to of it. It is a big
city. We are out getting groceries. So far we have been able to get by
without French. Everything is in French but we have been able to
communicate our needs. Everyone has been nice so far. Tomorrow in
another exciting day.

Niagara Falls
Well, we did it. After great visits with friends and family, past a bzillion fields of DRY corn and soybeans and past the ball fields in Cleveland, we made it to Niagara Falls. We experienced and unbelievable rain storm. More rain than we have seen in two years. It took us a while to get through customs as two guys looked through our motorhome with a fine comb. I'm sure they didn't believe me, being from Montana, when I told them that I left my guns home. As soon as we had the motorhome settled in camp we rushed over to see the Falls. They were awesome. Much cooler than I expected. I hope I'm not posting too many photos. Let me know if it is too many and causes problems. We are going back tonight for the lights and fireworks. Looks like more rain. This campground wifi sucks. I finally went to a Starbucks to send this. I already miss the US cell phone internet.
We'll keep you posted.

7/24/12 Leaving Vinnette's
We left Vinnette's this morning about 9 AM after five days of visiting and relaxing with Don and Vinnette. Don and I toured The Hagie sprayer factory and looked at a lot of old tractors. Leona and Vinnette spent a couple days shopping. We were able to spend a lot of time with Tyler and Anna and their three cuties. As we drove, we passed by many acres of drought strickened corn and soybeans. It is sad. We are camped at the Illinni State Park at Marseilles about 50 miles west of Chicago. It is a beautiful park right on the canal. Barges will pass through the night.

7/19/12 arrive at Vinnette's
We are now at Vinnette's, Leona's sister, after three terrific day's of eating, fishing, sight seeing, card playing, and visiting with our Arizona friends. We were able to visit with Delbert and Connie Jones and Gordon Anderson along with the Tobin's, Spurek's, and Grahams. We finished our visit the last night with a great steak dinner.
Vinnette and Don's daughter Anna and her family came out for a visit. Such a nice family

7/17/12 Pierre
We had a great time at Pierre, South Dakota visiting Rich and Kay Tobin. When we arrive Dan and Mary Graham were already there and later in the day Joe and Dorthey Spurek arrived. We have had a great time visiting, eating and playing cards. Today Rich and Kay's son-in-law, Chad, took the men out for a great day of walleye fishing. We caught some great fish. The ladies went shopping, had lunch at the golf course and spent the afternoon making beaded bracelets. This evening Chad and Jill (Rich and Kay's, daughter) prepared a great walleye dinner. We topped the evening off with a beautiful sunset boat ride.

7/15 Wall, SD
We left the tongue River reservoir about 1130. We drove through Sheridan on to Wall, South Dakota where we are spending the night. We spent some time walking around the Wall Drug stores.
Well, we are on the way
Well, we are off! It was hard leaving the family but we are anxious to get started on our adventure. It has been so smoky, hot and dry. It will be nice to get out of the smoke.
We left Friday about 10am. We stopped in Billings to pick up our tax documents and to see Debbie, Leona,s sister, who just was released from the hospital. We drove on to the Tongue River reservoir where we met Shane, Brenda, her folks and families. We had a great site. The kids skied and played in the water.
We had a great BBQ and sat around the campfire and told stories with the grand kids.
We spent two days there and had a great time enjoying everyone.
